Torn

Torn

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts

My heart broke into a million pieces tonight

You took your beauty and ran

Although, I understand

I hate, I love

I hate again

Again, and again, again

The effectiveness of your words

Forever in my soul

Yet, you are gone and my heart aches

How many times will this happen in this lifetime?

Amazing wit or not, it's dead

Craziness fell

Forever a prisoner of this

My heart torn right from it's rightful place in my chest.

Someone else is stomping on it.
