Simple Truth

Simple Truth

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts
"

Experience always makes for prolific writing.

"

Kept quiet

Young and dumb

Trustworthy,

Not something that you are

Wish I knew the simple truth

Retrospect

Simply Maddening

Shouted from a mountaintop

I rue the day I met you

All those years ago

If it weren’t for you

This would not have happened

I’d rather accept than blame

Blame is not in my repertoire

Inner turmoil is though

Understanding why

No apology necessary

Simple truth revealed

Simple truths

That which, we can not erase

Fleeting memory

Resolve to heal

Resolve to shout about it

Resolve to…

Soul lost for a long time

Finally found its way home.
