Absence of Malice

Absence of Malice

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts

With absence of malice in my heart
I write these words for you
Your tears burn my heart
My tears fail to end.
Apology unnecessary
You did nothing wrong.
Your biggest regret?
All that's left is the brutal honesty
We've reconnected again and again
Yet never touched ground
I have nothing left to say
Nothing left to give to you
You have it all.
The love of a lifetime
Carried away with the breeze
