Scars

Scars

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts

Wounded soul
Alone and broken
Awkwardly stumbling
Through life
Anger in every word
Uneasiness never dissipates
Fearing the newness of it all
Will the soul be whole again
Shattered images of love
Complications of it all
Running from it
Yet, running to it
Frying pan diving
From fire to fire
Finally realizing

Love comes from within.
