Poem 2

Poem 2

A Poem by Eugen Spierer

Whenever I find myself
Blistered by day-to-day
I think about fate.
Fate I cannot control
And the one I can.
Is it still fate
If we control it?
I reluctantly dwell
On what I control,
And happily let go
of what I can't.
I am but limited.
Nothing more.
