Fall

Fall

A Poem by Earl
"

Love in ambiguity

"
I thought you stopped existing,
But you appeared to be a thousand times real,
Better than all my fantasies and daydreams.

What is this cloying sweetness In my belle?
Could it be from those sappy letters filled with silly romantic clichés you sent?

Stop it immediately, I can't seem to taste anything nor can I smell a thing, even breathing seems arduous.

My mom said it's "the VID"
How'd I tell her it's a girl with afro, chubby cheeks and chocolate skin that sends me to quarantine.

Oh how delighted I am
That your name barely
Sends my liver on a lockdown
And words fail me.
