Flames

I guess one day I'll look back and laugh

Or I'll look back and see why I held on long enough to make it last

Even though deep down I am weeping uncontrollably, I never let it show

Because I am taking pain from a broken heart, spirit, and soul

But the pain I feel, you will never know, and you will never feel

Cause life for me is a living hell

The flames are there

And the flames are real

But the flames you see

Only I can feel

No water can put them out

And no water can make them subside

Cause the flame are there

Due to what I hide

I wish I was strong enough to make it to the end of time

But if I am not able

The blame is all mine

This poem is amazing! It really gives the reader the feelings you've been feeling and the pain... This is a wonderful poem wrought with all the feelings you have inside that you can't really show... but you can definantly express.
