Time

A little something I was thinking about lately.

My father once told me,
That good things come to those who wait.
But how much time must be spent waiting, 
Before we realize it was better to reach all along?
And when this conclusion finally comes to us,
Will we be able to say truthfully we have no regrets?
That we lived our lives the way we wanted to, 
And we didn't slow down for anyone?
Albert Einstein once said,
That the only reason for time was so that everything didn't happen at once. 
So if time did not exist,
Would we be here wondering if we missed out on something great?
Or would we even know that there was something to missed out on?
I believe that answer is in the eye of the beholder.
