Uncertainity

Uncertainity

A Poem by Ethan Yak
"

a poem centering on the doubts in my mind

"
Obsession is supposed to be unhealthy.
The poor get poorer, while the rich get wealthy
Time in school taught me question everything
People walking around, using the word Selfie,
Help Me.
If obsession is supposed to be unhealthy,
Why do I feel especially friendly
yet unsteadily empty?

Same.

Love the impact of the last question. It's ironic to me that we are part of a society that is supposed to be a part of a revolution in communications, and yet we compartmentalize ourselves in our own little worlds, and the words that we say become increasingly empty as we learn the ropes of "societal norms."
I wouldn't mind if you came over to my page; we think alike. Thanks for putting this out on the internet.
