cold stares

cold stares

A Poem by Ethan O
"

This is about the struggle of finding peace in a world of insanity.

"

Cold stares , hot sweats

Loud silence, precious regrets

Invited the sanity over for some tea and biscuits,

Never showed up with the doorbell untouched,

Tears coming in, blame it on the allergies ,

Can claritin fix a lost soul? Put me at peace?

Somebody turn on the night light, check under the bed and in the closet,

Eyes red from mental intoxication with an overdose of emotion. Threw up in the faucet,

Wet shower mats but no water on,

Feelings getting slept on,

Wake up to loud silence, precious regrets,

Invited sanity over for tea and some biscuits.
