Run Away

You run away from everything

Look at what you are running from

Are you satisfied?

 

You left from this world

Because you were afraid that

Everything would come right back to get you

 

You ran from your problems

Oh look it what you've done

 

You've left without a word to say

You left behind so many things

 

You ran from your past

You keep running forward

 

Whenever you have troubles

You always run away

 

Look at what you have done

Look at what's going on

Can't you see that you can't run away anymore?

 

You've already caused so much trouble

You ran, because you weren't strong enough to face your fears

 

You keep running

But when will you realize

That you have to stop eventually?

You can't keep going

You have to stop

And deal with what's wrong

 

You stop and turn around

You walk back home

Everyone hugs you and welcomes you back

 

You try to fix your broken wounds

And see on your own

Without running

You can heal

I wrote this because I like to run away from what's wrong, and I like to hide. So tell me what you think, and I hope you enjoy reading this.

I remember saying that when I was little "I'M RUNNING AWAY!" lol yeah my mom said "Okay send a post card." She new i wouldn't get any furhter than the porch lol. But there where some times when I really would have done it. This is nice though it tells exactly how everyone has felt one time or another. But better to face problems then give up so soon GREAT JOB! 100/100

I believe that everyone runs away from their problems. I really lied this poem. I like to hide to and I have thought about running. That won't solve anything though. This was awesome. Thanks for sharing. :)
