Holding On To Let Go

Holding On To Let Go

A Poem by Eternal Poet

I have to Let it go

I said as I held on

So tightly, gripping at

November winds that Tore down

Delicate Scarlet autumn leaves

That glowed Vermillion

Like some hidden rage, and Sadness

Amidst gray Blurry landscapes

Sometimes you Get lost

Amidst emerald fields Like paint

Swept across darkened skies

Where is that guiding Light?

That shone So bright in Youth

You looked not for perfection

But rendered in my faults

And spoke and sang of love

Oh, if only we did not have to loose people in flight. We shed a tear for those lost to us. Why should they not be near?
