Cobalt Sky Womb

Cobalt Sky Womb

A Poem by Eternal Poet

I felt it pulling at me

Crashing into me

Imploding from all sides

Ripping, shredding,

Tearing me in two

Hopelessly struggling

I gave in to the currents

I swan like a dolphin, a whale

I let it take me away,

Stripping my clothes off

Like endless sparkling waves

Releasing all this useless energy

Purging my spirit

Baring my soul

I swam helplessly into ice cold brine

And the rippling reflection of the moon

Heading out dangerously into

This swirling churning riptide tonight

Rocks and salt water

Sharply piercing my sides

I left my heart unguarded

And now I pay the price,

Drowning in this ruptured sea

Startled , I came up for one last breath

Lungs punctured and choking

Yearning for  the mirror-like

Cobalt sky womb
