Lotus

Lotus

A Poem by Eternal Poet

I sit by overgrown cattail shores, of a quiet lotus pond, meditating in early morning.  Seeking solace among the divine, the alligators, sea salt and my reflection upon still darkened waters.  Alabama skies, stream endlessly sacred, reminding me of eternity, and something utterly transcendental.  Amongst the shade of pines, I rested in thirst, spreading my thoughts and my spirit in all directions.  My soul always comes back to me, just like the moonlit tide crushes upon the misty white shores in some kind of clandestine union.  I heard a dragonfly whisper amidst my solitude, as if a haunting melody, a song, singing about empathy, and serving mankind with love and devotion.
