Deserted Streets, Railroad tracks, Love, and a Car Idling at Midnight

A Poem by Eternal Poet

Deserted Streets, Railroad tracks, and a Car Idling at Midnight

Hey, I remember that night

When auburn November skies

Bled into the scarlet horizon

Your black hair beautifully gothic

Billowing like a mystical veil

Below your second floor window

I lit the wick of a half melted candle

My car idling in the alley at midnight

On the shadowy porch, conversations

Echoed across half-lit railroad tracks

Under the lamplight of deserted streets

Your profile so hauntingly beautiful

So yes, I still remember you

Through all of these crazy years

I'm still thinking of you
