Move on

Move on

A Poem by EFidelity
"

family dysfunction

"

A little birdie told me

you stopped and had some fun

how could you disobey and rest

until your work was done

You know you have no choices

the lesson is routine

and if by chance you show some joy

back hands wipe out your dreams

You're such a little baby

Why don't you just grow up

Until you do stand on the chair

and finish up the dishes

I'm tired of all you children

go out and get fresh air

stop crying you have frostbite

as if you think I care

All families have dysfunction

what makes you feel unique

your selfish pride?  Get over it

move on from your compunction

Move from this loveless junction

move on to healing unction

Holy Mother of Assumption

lead me out from this consumption
