Love Affair with the Moon

Musings on a night of a full lunar eclipse

I feel so sad;

I know not why.

Is it something in the sky?

 

The moon is full,

snow on the ground.

I love my moon,

so bright and round.

 

She shines on me,

and is so true.

 

Then shadows come and mask her light.

A total eclispe for one night.

 

I now know why

my mood is sad.

 

For tonight I miss her glory;

And so goes on this great love story.
