TrAiNwReCk

TrAiNwReCk

A Poem by Falon Quirke
"

Pushing daisies.

"
This is it
This is my life now
This is what I've been reduced to
This is what my world has become

My field of daisies
Ruined and withered away to nothing
No chance of spring
This winter continues forever

I've seen the groundhog's shadow
There's no hope yet
No optimism
Not for this TrAiNwReCk

This TrAiNwReCk we call life
Everything I've ever hoped for
Anything I've ever loved
Slipped through my fingers like whispers in the wind

The reality of strife
Cuts like a knife
Slams like a TrAiNwReCk
With an earth-shattering impact

The daisies are gone forevermore
Ruined and withered away to nothing
The only good about the daisies now
Is that no one can push them anymore

I'm 15, and I've loved writing for as long as I can remember. And I LOVE to read. I write novels and a few poems and get most of my inspiration from my dreams, and what I read. I love fantasy books.. more..
