Perfect WorldA Poem by Falon QuirkeIt is one in which the light shines perpetually Casting its brilliant rays of happiness down upon the earth Resurrecting that which has been lost In the form of cheerful pops of color That spring gracefully from our feet Of course it is only fair to say that it is subject to change Any one being is constantly poised to bend such notions to his or her own recollection It may also be one in which the conditions are almost unbearable And the aforementioned source of cheer is nowhere to be seen Hidden by gray The new source of perfection produces multitudes of crystal art Each one more a Picasso then the previous The same applies to that of the other states of this earth Those where the happiness is present in full force In a way that is almost unbearable Those where that which we thought would always remain stagnant does not And morphs into a shade much more beautiful than the last The perfect world may never manifest itself before us truly But each one of us may experience our own Even if this one is only second best © 2012 Falon QuirkeReviews
