In his silence

In his silence

A Poem by Soapbox

In his silence he screamed,
with fury and sorrow his heart spoke.
With memories of joy turned to hate,
crimson walls left black.
His heart bore scars deep black,
mere remnants of his bitter fate.

In his silence he groaned,
with anguish and anger his heart spoke.
Trembling in the cold crisp air,
broken and left bare.
His heart lay mangled there,
damaged by his lost love affair.
