Body not BeautyA Poem by SoapboxHe sees the glint in her eyes not the wisdom of her mind, The movement of her lips not the strength of her words. He sees the slender of her neck not the beauty of her spirit. The curves of her breast not the verses of her heart.
He sees her body not her beauty.
He sees the size of her waist not the size of her heart, The length of her legs not the strength of her character. He sees the softness of her hands not the work that they have done, The shape of her feet not the path they have traveled.
He sees her body not her beauty. © 2009 SoapboxReviews
