Now that your here i have a few things to say

I wanted to know if you are ok?

You haven't said a word to me

Is there something i don't see?

 

I layed my cards on the table

Told you how i really feel

My heart is the one here on the line

and it shatters in your silence
Still you don't say a word

 

At least could you tell me how you feel?

Was it fake or was it real?

I know i'm not the best

I don't out-shine the rest

Still i wish you could see

All that i could be

 

I wish you only knew

How much i hoped for me and you

And the real me 

Was always left unseen

 

I can sing and dance even though im terribly shy

I love to write poetry its where i can be free

I am really smart but i keep quiet to fit in

I care about my loved ones, so i bottle up my pain

I really love to read but my siblings come first

The quiet i adore is the peace im searching for

 

But none of that matters now

There's no longer an if? or when? or how?

I played all of my cards and so have you

But don't worry dear, i have nothing left to fear

 

Though i'm broken now

I'll fix my self somehow

And maybe in time, i will love again

But i will never forget you, my dearest friend
