the last dance (mathew's view)

the last dance (mathew's view)

A Poem by dark_angel
"

mathews side of the story

"

so beautiful, so alone

i don't know what compelled me

but i bowed and asked her to dance

the beautiful melody of my heart will go on filled the air

as we danced i wished this moment would never end

with her in my arms

i felt as if there was no ceiling or floor

when the song ended

i didn't want to let her go

so i whispered to her a confession clear as day

"this may have been the last dance but or hearts shall dance together till the end of time"

two years passed

back at the same place we mett

a new question arose

instead of "may i have this dance?"

"will you marry me?"

now you can figure out the rest

unless you didnt read the text

YOU DIDNT too bad

but im not sad

cause she said yes

ain't she the best
