Oh So Happy

Oh So Happy

A Poem by Ethan Talby

Love you so much. I'll be your best friend forever
I'm flying so high, flying higher than ever
And I'm feeling so happy
Oh So Happy

The way your hair hides your face
Trying so hard not to leave a trace
But I still see you in every place
All your style, all your grace

Love you so much. I'll be your best friend forever
I'm flying so high, flying higher than ever
And I'm feeling so happy
Oh So Happy

You're not good for me, like a cancer
But if you call I'll answer
Even leave my tiny dancer
Cause you give my life meaning, a life enhancer

Love you so much. I'll be your best friend forever
I'm flying so high, flying higher than ever
And I'm feeling so happy
Oh So Happy

That look and that smile make me feel light years
Ahead of these light peers
You give me great hope but also great fear
You'll never cross my bridge, but I'm just happy to be here

Love you so much. I'll be your best friend forever
I'm flying so high, flying higher than ever
And I'm feeling so happy
Oh So Happy

I swear this relationship is a rubber band
Every time I feel distant you pull me back by the hand
And set me beside you and bury my feet in the sand
So when you walk away and I die I hope you'll understand...

I love you so much. Be your best friend forever
I'm flying so high, flying higher than ever
And I'm feeling so happy
Oh So Happy

A very sad poem at the end. I thought it was a happy poem. Being content to be with a friend. I like the flow and the story. We need friends and people to make us go forward. Find purpose to be alive. A excellent poem.
