Gorgeous

A Poem by I guess I'll never know...
"

A poem about one of my characters from the point of view of one of my other characters. o.o

"

I know what lies within her heart
She knows not of what i say
She broke down the day her purity
Was painfully taken away

The chilling ache of rainfall
Against her pale white skin
She sits alone, there, crying
She'll never commit a sin

I know in her heart she is gorgeous
But fear is forever present
And tears run down her angel cheeks;
She wants to go back to heaven

From me, she can never hide her pain
When she wishes so hard she were dead
I love her, though it doesn't help her much
And she wishes for bullets inside her head

She smiles at me as she turns away
So tonight I can't leave her alone
She sits on my lap and I kiss her cheek softly
But I know she just wants to go home

She is beautiful, maybe that's why she's sad
Because men are all pigs in her eyes
I guess I should hold her, cause they won't ignore her
No matter how hard she will try

I can only hope that my presence
Will soon ease the pain in her heart
I suppose I'm the only one that
Can cease her teardrops' start

Though the world through my eyes is much different
I can see all the lies in her head
And though she will not ever believe me
She is gorgeous, I don't care what is said.

awwwww... that almost made me tear-up. That's a very touching poem... I agree with the girl about men... they are pigs (but I think I'm just a man hater, lol.) if this poem is based on a true story, I hope the girl you speak of is alright... and I hope she believes you one day. :D
