Whatever Gods May Be

Whatever Gods May Be

A Poem by A.Taylor

the moonlight plays
across the rippling seas
and i am rendered speechless
and brought to my knees
the moon is a beacon
to the stars' consoling eyes
whose light softly glistens
off the tears loosed from my cries
calm of night can not suppress
this war that's waged in me
as i silently pray
to whatever gods may be
