In the silence of the nights, 

My mind wanders back to you once again, 

And one more time, I drift towards a dream that I wish to never end, 

a Dream where I still have you,

And we walk alongside a road with our fingers intertwined...

In the silence of the night,

One more time I could only meet you in a dream I always wake up from,

As I fall into an agony of not having you by my side. 

I have realised that love is a lie, it doesn't heal you, it doesn't make you stronger...

For love has only made me vulnerable, more than I've ever been..

But yet after all this time, all these years, 

all this unexpressed grief that I've been carrying...
