Someday I will find a place

When you feel worthless, lonely and have no one to talk to, this is a prayer to God for such times.

Someday I will find a place, 

That knows what I'm worth, 

And I won't lay awake at night

Asking God why I deserved 

All hell that life has been, 

The blood, the tears, the pain,

Someday I will find a place 

That makes me smile again, 

And someday it won't matter 

The baggage that I claim, 

I'll find a place to put it down

And tear the tags that bear my name 

I'll leave it all behind me, 

Like it was never mine to last, 

I'll walk into the future, 

And leave it in my past. 

Someday I'll find happiness

Like I've known before, 

I'll find the place that's meant for me,

And I won't cry anymore. 

Unless they are tears of blinding joy, 

That lift me up above.

 

It might not be till my last breath, 

But someday I'll find love, 

It might be with the angels, 

Or might be here on Earth, 

But I swear someday I'll find a place, 

That knows what I'm worth,,,
