The Hotel Room LightBulb

The Hotel Room LightBulb

A Poem by Last Lying Look
"

Just another poem written at sunrise after another sleepless night...

"

The Hotel Room Lightbulb

I wanted a memory.

Something to keep.

Something simple.

&I foundwhat I was looking for.

The Hotel Room Lightbulb

Maybe I shouldn't have taking it

But it was just begging to be unscrewed

&now it haunts me

There isn't a single night that it

doesnt appear before my closed eyes

That Hotel Room Lightbulb

I'm not sure what horrors it has seen

Or why it is so cruel

But I love it to death

No matter what it does to me

That Hotel Room Lightbulb

Author's Note

Last Lying Look
Last sunrise after not sleeping all night I wrote about the world & the sun. THis sun rise I shall write about a hotel room lightbulb. Uhm. Kkind of random. But I'm kind of tired.
Were there black cavemen? I'm not sure. Maybe I'llwrite a poem about it later.

So tell me what you think about this whoel hotel lightbulb thing ??

Haha I like it.
It's a good type of random.
Ithad kind of a cookey, cool feel to it.
I liked the flow of it, too.
Cool write!

a most original piece of writing I found it intriguing. Guilty connsciences as inspiration for poetry are commonplace but rarely about such trivial offences
