I'll Kill you with this Spoon

I'll Kill you with this Spoon

A Poem by Last Lying Look

If you ever come at me again with that knife

I’ll kill you with this spoon

I wouldn’t start making plans

Because I’m sure that day will come soon

You cut me with that

I’ll surely pop your eye out

So let’s just not try it

Because I don’t want to see you sit and pout

You even touch me once

I’m going to shove this down your throat

So baby lets not go there

Because I’m not ready to get my coat

If you ever come at me again with that knife

I’ll kill you with this spoon

So I wouldn’t start making plans

Because I’m sure that day will come soon

Last Lying Look
This one makes me a laugh a little. The thought of killing someone with a spoon is quite ridiculous.

I really liked the repetition of my favourite stanza in this particular poem

"If you ever come at me again with that knife

I’ll kill you with this spoon

So I wouldn’t start making plans

Because I’m sure that day will come soon"

& the fact that I know exactly what it's about makes it all the more enjoyable :)
All in all, very powerful & emotional piece. Props to you McTwitch :) :P

The picture and the title intrigued me. Fascinating and funny. Great retaliation for a serious subject.
Cheers.

it is both funny and scary...
at first i imagined hostility. a man and woman struggling with awkward silence and space between them with hatred and soon there'll be blood all over... i felt tension, the woman desperate with the only weapon in her hand: the spoon... the "pop your eyes" got my chills! i thought i saw the eyes pop right out with the optic nerve still attached!
second, it's like a funny threat. "Oh yeah? i'm gonna kill you with this spoon!" lol... yes, it's ridiculous...

gee, you woke up my imagination...

What a delightful way of retaliation. It's best to go for the eyes with a scooping motion, but if you find a more efficient way please let me know.

This is really funny. I like the whole concept of it. I'd probably use a spoon instead, as well. No one's expecting that to happen. Great write.

Wow i havent had the guts to tackle the subject of murder mainly because im scared of what i might discover about myself. I love this poem because your only going to kill with the spoon if provoced. Far from showing an aggresive nature it actualy shows a venerable but strong defensive nature which reflects my own nature. Definately a fantastic poem. Thanks for sharing.
