silent battles

silent battles

A Poem by Lana
"

working progress

"

sound pierces the silence of night

light cast upon still grass
battles rage
yet go unknown
broken
shattered
can't be fixed
heartache
dark lines
over pale white
split in two
the suns fingertips
still touch the earth
new days break
and the moons phases turn
time passes
pain subsides
second tick by
life in confusion
switching tracks
to get to a different station
picking up people along the way
and dropping others off
continuous cycles

This was really good (-: my favorite part is
"sound pierces the silence of night
light cast upon still grass
battles rage
yet go unknown
broken
shattered
can't be fixed"
the yet go unkown I can relate and so much is said in just these few words!

Your layout is well thought out, i love the idea of the poem, it's very well constructed.

Let me tell you this was a nice reflection...always searching, never ending, a provocative relationship between you and the world conducted in the beautiful setting of the most interesting topics: gaining inner strength.
