Another poem in the dome

J Cole got my soul in control

Feelings that you roll on

Keep moving

Be the influence that god has clearly called upon

 

You know it’s right

In a world filled with wrong

With all your might

You push and pull to keep this feeling strong

Feelings of love

Feeling like they don’t belong

F**k if they make you feel like that

Cause we know better

Yeah we know that

I could love you more

Without my dick and that’s a fact

 

Nowadays a dick is where it’s at

Got me thinking about it so hard

Wondering if there is anything else

Collapse and withdraw

Now my confidence is on the shelf

 

You don’t care

You don’t want to help

I completely understand

You are completely felt

Let’s put our minds together

Without letting them melt

 

I love all of you

When you aren’t generating hate

This sex revolving world

Has your wants and needs created

Before you even step into it

Me I just want to quit

Start new

Give this glove a better fit

It feels wrong and I’ll admit

I’m running in the wrong lane

 

But you can’t blame me for trying

All the dreams you are denying

Don’t you ever look outside

Don’t you wonder why the world is dying?

It’s sooooo obvious

It’s so reminding

Every day the blinding truths apparent to us all

 

Wish I could leave

Wish I could fall

Oh well guess I’ll stay and forget to pray

Cause god won’t help me anyway

He tells me to help myself

That’s how my momma did it

That’s how my grandpa got ahead

All I got to use is this little head

 

Eyes red why am I running

From this world and what it is becoming

More like what it has became

You and you’re little cat and mouse games

I won’t be lead around by emotions

I won’t be manipulated in my brain

 

Leave me alone

Leave me standing in the rain

Still I speak the same prophesy

Still there is no one stopping me

Still so they must want what I say we have to gain

They just want you to earn it

They just want for us to share pain

 

Instead of taking it out on each other

Look around

Rediscover

That the whole world is like this

With a pretty fake cover usually surrounding

So obvious

So astounding

not offended at all and because I am actively practicing celibacy, my mind is much clearer as I am achieving a higher level of consciousness....meaning I have Open My eyes not only improving my state of being but seeing the words clearly in this poem.
