Your Inevitable Loss

Your Inevitable Loss

A Poem by Erudite
"

When my white flag is ignored, I'm left no choice but to take you down

"

You've come to me in this realm of mental games.
You said, face me or feel the shame.
Threatened to abscond with my identity.
Guaranteed my pain via obscenities.

You've come to match wits with a genius,
Yet can't recognize Sun Tzu's art of deception.
You'd like to speak circles around a poet.
Yet are ignorant to the charisma I hide.

Now, I shine like a thousand suns,
Their ears perk up at my golden tongue,
You have such gall, labeling me the wicked one.
When I never told you to run.

Only to stay your sword.

"It's esoteric. He's a grandiloquent."
You can't stay mad at my effervescence.
You find my intellect ineffable,
Then raise your surrender in the wind.

He hung his head in shame,
Then listened for my retort.
"You're the one to blame.
I used only necessary force."
