The RadianceA Poem by EruditeBurn me away
Stand back, jaw agape in amazement,
as your best laid plans fail. Though you conspire to inspire My death, my hatred, You'll soon find your toxin's become inert. Slither away to the fields, As I love my neighbors and enemies. You've come to destroy and steal, But I'm passing out serenity. The war's been over, Since the day it began. It's time, side with the victorious. Watch Him wash the blood from your hands. Whether you've got open wounds or healed scars, The Savior will see you now. Come exactly as you are. I'll add one last stanza for the sake of the art. Narcissistic injury is the weapon of the cursed. Ergo, dying to yourself will jam their guns. Why not meet your Maker? Let Him fill you with peace beyond understanding. Or have you other plans? © 2018 EruditeAuthor's Note
