A Love Poem is Easy

I have been getting tired of writing love poems, so I wrote this instead.

A Love Poem

 

A love poem is easy.

It comes out of you.

   Drops from a leaky sink

   A new word from your tongue.

   Sighing.

   Moaning.

(It all just seems so natural)

 

A love poem is easy,

Because its so easy to be confused,

And confusion makes for great feelings,

And great feelings make for a great poem.

   Lost

   Lonely

   Love

Love

   Love

Love

 

Its easy to write.

Its hard to understand.

It’s a beginning.

     An ending.

 

Love poems.

They never let you down.

And if they do let you down,

   They let you down easy.

Because Of Course,

A love poem is easy.

i like the layout and the font size differences. it's very alluring. i like how it's still a love poem even if its not the typical mushy lovey dovey stuff ;)

I think the repetition used in the last stanza works directly with the rest of the structure, nice idea good writing

In the last stanza i would not use let you down three times it sounds wrong.... Im not quite sure what you could add in but it doesnt sound right

I absolutely adore this. You should change "corse" to "course." But I love the way you broke up the stanzas, and the repetition of the world love.
