Broken Parts

Broken Parts

A Poem by Hannah Messer
"

Poem about self discovery, love, and separation.

"
Broken promises and broken hearts.
How can we fix the broken parts?
Our love is awkward,
the truth confused,
we're beaten down and so abused.
To start to heal,
we must forgive,
and trust ourselves,
and learn to live.
I'm here for you,
and you for me,
but in the end,
it's I,
not we.
We'll search our souls to find our power,
lest we get lost this witching hour.
Once we've discovered who we are,
we'll find we've fixed the broken parts.

I wasn't entirely sure how to break this up so I'm not sure it flows right this way, but I tried!
