September Moon

September Moon

A Poem by S. A. Venus

Subtle breezes
Emerging from the east
Pale moonlight adorns the shoreline
Tantalisingly dancing atop the breaking waves
Enticing all to behold its
Mesmerising charm, and dream about what lays
Beyond that glorious glowing orb, and
Every known star held in it's sight, it
Remains constantly resplendent

Mysteriously equally drawn to us
Orbiting as though it is learning from us
Our nuances, our habits, our secrets, or simply it's
Nature's protective light
