In Limbo

So much in common
With a foetus buried
Deep within the womb
Life in darkness
Love concealed within
The depths of a soul
Yet to be set free

Dreams of what may await me
Locked away inside
A curious mind
Feelings of uncertainty
About a future
Not yet written
Still, however, seeming pre-determined

Love, Life, Hope and Prosperity
All laying in limbo
Waiting for my acceptance
To be drawn into
My own destiny.
