BirthA Poem by Erica RossI have been inspired again
Sophisticated and forward
When I was born, a lover wept It all happened on an April sunset My parent's minerals created a new perspective My mom would say that I am enchanted My daughter..I'm sure he said mysteriously They told me that I was intrigued with the world, immediately Life is an issue that I was ready to read And I would record anything in my mind, even if I never knew what it might mean How deaf or blind a child can be, but how can you blame them? So pride-free. From then on, I've been on an all time high And one Sunday, a prophet told me I had a job with God, to lift my people high From birth, they never tell you how you would be infatuated with the pleasures of hell, Just let a child know the truth Just like me, they'll eventually understand.
