Eyes Full of Emptiness, A Void Soul

The feeling of emptiness is inevitable

There is no cure.

If you're living an alternative lifestyle, then this I know for sure.

We wait forever to get that void filled

We bask in glorious moments

But even in that time

We eventually feel a sense of loneliness.

I don't know what to call it

There isn't much to do

All that we can wait for is another moment

To take the mind off of what is true.

But they say that God will fill that emptiness

He will cure that void

Well I'll sign up today

Take this emptiness away, My Lord.
