Anger

Anger

A Poem by Erica Ross

They tell me..
You have the right to be angry
But you don't have the right to sin
Such a sweet thing
Can turn anyone into a mad man
Understand my wrath
Understand my anger
Understand my frustration
Just don't make it any worse.
Tell me that you want to know
Tell me that you understand
But I'm dealing with a curse.
You all want to get inside
Yes, you all want to know
But forever you'll be disappointed
Cause my feelings just won't show.
But the truth is
I show all of my emotion
Just in a harder way
I don't understand feelings
And why won't they just go away?
So understand my madness
Understand my anger
But don't make it any worse.

I like this piece. i like it because you can sense that youre upset, the confusion behind it as well as the concern from others who want to know why.
Anger can lead to out of control. Seems like you understand some of your feelings even though you say you don't. Once you understand the situation that has you upset, then it's easier to understand your feelings behind it. Good expression!
