You know that feeling when you just know?

You know the unknown that's going on.

Everyone is trying to cover it up

But you're too wise not to know.

You know that uneasy feeling you get

When someone is trying to hide it?

You know that feeling you get

When you can see under the facade

You listen while they talk, but you doubt it and still nod.

People try to woo you with sweet words

Like oh, this could never be!

But they talk like we're not living in the 21st century.

Anything is possible, but you can't pull anything over me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite optimistic

But my instincts, they've always been quick.

Quick to pick out bullshit and politics.

I never felt this strongly while dealing with people.

Never neglecting the love that they give me.

But something is still telling me that things aren't right.

And even though I don't want it..

My mind and heart still fights..
