Love me beyond my flaws

I hate that I get angry so fast
But still love me for it
My innocence overshadows my flaws
So love me for it

I hate that I'm impatient
I don't like the thought of waiting
But I know patience is a virtue-I'm working on it daily
So love me for it

I hate how jealous I can get, but you're mine
So love me for it
I hate how I speak too soon, and my words hurt you
But I feel the hurt right after I say those words
So love me for it

I hate that I have my moods
But I notice them, and I don't like them, just like you
So love me for it

I hate my nonchalant attitude sometimes
But it protects my heart
So love me for it

And one day you'll look back on all of my flaws..
Laughing at my child-like tendencies
But I'll be long gone, far beyond the stars
And if you never loved me before..
Right at that moment, you will love me for it
