A Change of Mind

I remember thinking a couple of years ago,

This is the life I want, this is what I want people to know

Now that I am here, I want to give it all back

Cause back then I was peaceful, Now I can't get the devil off my back

With God in my heart and my spirit man jumpin'

My flesh is fighting against me, and it's got me wonderin'

To be or not to be

That is the question

To go back or stay the same

It's got me guessin'

The lost souls come to me for direction

I give them what I can, but who can help me?

They say our fate is pre-destined

And all the saints tell me that God thinks I'm precious

I guess it's all working out as it should

And He knows every move I'm gonna make before I do it

The upper hand, the upper man, the puppeteer of my plans

So I guess He knew I'd be in this place in my life right now where I have a change of mind
