Hidden WaterA Poem by Erica Ross
In the hidden water is my own little oasis
It is my escape, it is my get away By the hidden water is the answer to it all By the hidden water is a magical water fall I walk to the water sometimes just to think And when I think I become mystic My thoughts become as deep as that water But Be careful self, before you drown and become lost in it If I stare long enough I see mermaids and great fish I see a beautiful place, something far beyond this And when I'm tempted from the look I approach the water foot by foot And when I am deep in, I go for a swim Seeing the small creatures that swim within When I get tired, I flip over and float Sailing and coasting as if I were a boat Gazing at the sky as I become one with water Dare to knock my groove? Don't you even bother.. while I'm in this Hidden Water
