The Walk of Life

The walk of life is sometimes a path unknown 

But we still walk along kicking around rocks and stones 

Sometimes we take a break because the journey can take a toll 

But no matter what goes wrong, I'll never stop because I know my role 

In life I am destined to be something great 

I hear the bystanders cheering me along as I am on my way 

At times I don't know what they see in me 

But in those moments I feel a heart of a god growing within me 

And even though I walk this unknown path 

I do know for sure that it's a prosperous one, and for this makes me glad 

So while you're on your journey and your walk of life 

Never look back and ponder on your past strife 

Cause you're just that much closer to your destination 

Just pace yourself, and keep a smile 

You owe no explanations.

this is a very motivational piece, i really enjoyed reading it.
sometimes you slip out of the rhyming structure, although it hasn't had much affect on the flow of the poem.
well done and good job :)

Well written! Only feedback would be to split the poem into two different lines at some places, hence giving it that 'birdsong' feel~
