Warmer Bodies

Warmer Bodies

Accurate description of my 2/10

"
I woke up on Sunday morning to my favorite song, Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz. At 11:37 I slid my iPhone's lock and answered with a groggy and low pitched "H-hello?"
"JAY! WE'RE IN PROSPECT PARK, COME SEE WARM BODIES WITH US AT THE PAVILION!"
"Sweet Christ, hold on. When's the movie start?"
"1:15, but get here by 12:40"
These are my friends, reader. They're all f*****g nuts.
I clicked the lock on my phone to hang up, knowing I had to take a shower and get ready so I could catch a ride to the theatre. After going through my normal hygiene rituals, I called up for a cab and hopped in. The old man, about 50 or 52 years old, spoke with a heavy Brooklyn accent and asked me where to and for his cash. I handed over the $20 bill and told him to take me to the Pavilion, and off he sped towards the best experience of my life. After shuffling over to the theatre and picking up my ticket, my phone started ringing again.
"Yeah, Liv. I'm here, the hell am I going now?"
"Come to the pizzeria two blocks down."
Again, I hung up and sprinted over, wanting to see who she brought with her.
I barged into the near empty pizzeria and was greeted with a familiar face: my friend Matt who I hadn't seen since 8th grade. I was wrapped in a hug by someone I didn't know at the time, who later said she did it on a dare. Her name was Jen. Now, saying she was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen is an understatement. Her long, brown hair looked like million dollar silk in the noon sunlight, her blue eyes like two marbles crafted by angels themselves. Good thing she was short, or I probably wouldn't have gotten as far as I did. Her hourglass shaped body was well curved, and definitely not hard to look at. At that moment, I think the crush hit. I gave Olivia a hug, Matt a hearty punch in the gut, and hugged the other two girls who were complete strangers to me. I took an empty seat next to Jen and spent the next 20 minutes puffing on a Marlboro and laughing like a madman at these kids. Matt, Olivia and I reminisced our old times at our old school, sharing stories of teachers and students alike. We shared our high school experiences, and had a great time. But I almost forgot I had a romantic zombie flick to see. After flicking the cigarette into February's black ice, we walked to the theatre to theatre 7.
I was NOT getting stuck with a bad seat, so I rushed in and hopped over 3 rows of seats and ended up getting...
The aisle seat.
Jen sat next to me, with the two stranger girls next to her, followed by Matt and Olivia finishing off the tiny row. We acted like typical teenagers, but I behaved myself somewhat for Jen. I couldn't have her thinking I was some jerk off with no respect or class. I did, however, tell Matt to "Stop masturbating because they make fleshlights, tissues, and the back row for a reason", so I guess I broke that rule within the first minute of making it. The lights dimmed and the first few trailers started playing. All of them looked pretty bad, but the horror ones scared Jen so I offered her my arm and to be her "cuddle buddy".
She happily accepted and latched onto my arm, like she and I were magnets. My leg started to shake. 'OH F**K SHE'S LIKE RIGHT ON TOP OF ME WHAT IF I DO SOMETHING STUPID S**T JAY F*****G ACT RIGHT'
The movie eventually started and it was pretty funny. But Jen wasn't laughing at the movie. I have the habit of dropping comments and speaking my mind during movies. So I did, and Jen was giggling like a hyena on laughing gas. It was the f*****g cutest thing ever. So, in the film, the zombie R saves Julie and takes her to a plane where he gets a crush on her (Don't question it, go see it.) and thinks to himself 'Say something human!' and I couldn't have related more. I looked over to Jen to say something stupidly funny and I guess she did at the same time, making it look like we telepathically agreed to kiss.
"Were you leaning in for something?" my silver tongue inquired.
"N-no... Why? Were you?" she said, her face turning red.
"What if I said yes?" I said with a smirk on my face.
"Then I might have to agree." she replied.
She shut her eyes and puckered up, so I replicated it and leaned forward, her lips tasting like strawberries. She opened her mouth to French, and my inexperienced a*s had to accept shakily. My tongue was silver in more than one way, dancing with her tongue in a waltz that I'll never forget. I pulled away, chuckling and asking
"How was I?"
She replied almost dumbstruck "You were f*****g amazing!" as if we just had sex. My silver tongue again kicked in, replying with
"Well the second time is always a little better..."
And we kissed AGAIN. I f*****g love having a silver tongue.
We cuddled closer and repeated that process the entire movie, at one point saying that we were getting snacks and passionately made out as if we were together for a few years. I guess that was a little foreshadowing, because... well you'll see really soon.
We spent the rest of the movie whispering to each other, saying that we made each other really happy and that we should spend a LOT more time together. Today, it's Valentine's Day, 4 days from then. Wish me luck on my date today!

So. Uh. Yeah.
I really hope this isn't the same Jen I'm thinking about.
If so, we need to talk...

Obviously it wasn't, and even if it was we broke up about 2 weeks after that.
