The Happiness SuspendedA Poem by JayParamoDepressing and somewhat true poem. Enjoy!
We met and we fell
And I could just tell That I'd try, and I'd try to make you happy. You said you were lonely I called you my one and my only And I tried, and I tried to make you happy. Next two months were the best And unlike the rest I did, I really did make you happy. Then you took a blue pill Your intent was to kill And I cried, oh I cried, and made you happy. You wanted a ticket Family Christmas, you'd miss it But I bought it, and I made you happy. Worse led to worse My name you did curse And I failed, miserably, to make you happy Our relationship ended My happiness suspended But I still tried, and I tried, to make you happy. You got with another Knows you better than mother Envy won, but I tried to make you happy. Next week was depression Bad news in rapid succession And I still attempted to make you happy. One thing made me flip Around the school it just slipped And your man, he made you really happy. Now with a gun to my head You wish I was dead I'm gonna try, and I will finally, make you happy. © 2013 JayParamo |
