When I Hold A Pen

When I Hold A Pen

A Poem by Ae Pen
"

Feelings interpreted by a pen.

"

When I’m angry
I hold my pen
like knives
"
I stab anything
to let it loose

When I’m happy
I hold my pen
like feathers
"
so airy making
me feel amused

When I’m sad
I hold my pen
like thin cords
"
they'll twist and break
all my bones

When I’m in love
I hold my pen
like your hand
"
squeeze it tight,
and never withdraw

Yes, us writers do write from our many emotions, and it's nice to air out our emotions especially when we are sad, but even when we are happy, either way it helps us feel better. You did a good job touching on some of the emotions but I can see this going even further lol but you did write about the main ones.

Good Job

we have many reasons to write but these emotions you described in your poem are the major contents. I like how it's short yet firm. keep holding that pen with an honest power.

A beautiful description for writing and reading. There are many reasons to write. The keys to the writer, I believe is. You must live and live some more. Test life and travel. Know good and bad days. No weakness in the outstanding poetry.
