What I Need

I am not afraid.

I will give this all I have.

You may have given up

But I'm not ready to let go.

I don't know what this means to you,

But I know that I care.

I know you try to hide what you feel inside

Just know that I'll always be there

When you need someone.

Please don't run.

My legs are tired.

I can't keep up.

You're wearing out my mind.

I thought you were such a find,

but you've made this all so worthless

That it's hard to understand.

These sheets of paper with words that I've written

Over and

Over again

Are slowly turning against me,

because I know what I want.

But I'm ignoring what I need.

So... I've tried writing poetry and then revising it... But then it seems so dry to me for some reason... I think I'm just bad at editing lol This is not an edited pre-meditated poem but tell me what you think! XD

I think it's good! I like the structure and how you started with never giving up and then ending with confusion and going with your desires. It's very thoughtful, I really like it. You should too! (:
